“Standing out in the world; standing up for Christ”
Pathway Kids is where the next generation learns how to change the world. We believe that every child can develop an intimate relationship with God at a young age, setting the foundation for a victorious life. That’s why we offer special classes just for our youngest members, where carefully screened teachers teach kids about the love of God in a safe, nurturing environment. We aren’t just babysitting your kids – we are pointing them to Jesus.
The “Why” of Pathway Kids
Believe: Our mission is to help every child BELIEVE in Jesus.
Become: We are helping each child BECOME who God created them to be. When I serve, I am taking that next step in becoming who God created me to be.
Belong: We want people to BELONG to a team. We were never designed to do life alone. Serving connects us to each other.
Build: We are helping build a future generation and God's Kingdom.
The “How” of Pathway Kids
Every encounter with our children is an opportunity to speak into the lives of future leaders and teach them how to stand out for Christ. Some of the ways we do that include:
The Kingdom principles learned in Pathway Kids prepare children to be positive influences in their families, schools, communities, and perhaps one day the world!

Nursery (Birth to 2 years)
Our nursery is a soothing environment for your child to be ministered to. We have all the resources necessary to ensure your child is well-cared for and safe while you enjoy the service. We hold babies, pray for them, and speak the Word of God over them each and every week. No child is too young to be introduced to Jesus.
Toddlers (2-3 years)
Your toddler is active and curious – a perfect time for discovering God in an interactive way. The toddler class is fun and engaging with Bible lessons, crafts, and plenty of hands-on activities. Your child can even let loose in praise with fun instruments and sing-a-long time with other toddlers. It’s the ultimate play-date with Jesus!
As your child moves into preschool, he or she is embracing independence and asking more questions than ever. Children at this stage of life can understand basic Biblical concepts and how they apply to everyday life at home, with peers, and at school. Our preschool class includes age-appropriate teaching, interactive worship, and plenty of room for creativity and self-expression.
Pathway Kids (1st-4th)
Hands down, the most exciting place for a 1st-4th grade student to be is in Pathway Kids. Every service is jam-packed with interactive worship, entertaining games, carefully planned lessons and a few surprises in between. Our goal is to challenge kids to reach others for Christ and better understand their identity and purpose in Him – all in the comfort of an exciting, fun-filled, and safe environment. Here, children deepen their relationship with God and connect with other kids and adults through small groups. It’s no wonder Pathway Kids is the most exhilarating hour and fifteen minutes of every week!
Real 56 (5th-6th)
Real 56 is designed to bridge the gap between the elementary and teenage years. It is geared specifically toward pre-teens in grades 5 and 6 – a pivotal age when students can be challenged to delve deeper into their relationship with God. Instructors facilitate student discussions designed to tackle real life issues in a crazy, fun and casual atmosphere. Students are also given the opportunity to participate in their own outreach projects as they develop a passion for serving others. Real 56 is offered during all of our Saturday and Sunday services.
People – all people – are the priority at Pathway Church. We want every family to feel embraced and welcome, including those with children who have special needs. Hero Kids is our answer for those families, providing a loving and safe atmosphere where any child can experience the love of Jesus. No longer does one parent have to stay at home as a caregiver while the other attends church. With Hero Kids, families at Pathway can worship together as one body every week.
Every child is an individual – some just learn in different ways than others. Hero Kids embraces the individualism in each child and provides an atmosphere for growth and understanding. If your child will be attending Hero Kids, please fill out the Hero Kids In-Take Form and bring it with you to give to the teacher.
Hero Kids meets on Saturdays at 5:00 p.m.
